TONIGHT’S GAME …Last night the IceRays ended the three year winless drought against Topeka with a 3-2 shootout victory. Beau Walker and Ryan McNeely were the goal scorers in regulation for Corpus Christi. In a shootout, Walker and Charles Baldwin converted while Hayden Stewart stopped all four attempts he faced. In his last three games, Walker has four goals and rides a six game point scoring streak.

ALASKA TO TEXAS…Corpus Christi acquired forward Ryan McNeely from Fairbanks this past week. He will suit up tonight in Topeka.
FIRST IMPRESSION… Ryan McNeely made a good first impression scoring his first goal in his first game with the IceRays. His tally gave Corpus Christi a 2-1 lead in the third period last night.
TWICE IS NICE… Charles Baldwin scored in his second straight shootout last night using an almost identical move that he pulled in Amarillo.
KEY INJURIES… The IceRays come into Topeka without Perry D’Arrisso and Trevor Heuser who did not make the trip.
STONG POWER-PLAY…Topeka and Corpus Christi enter tonight with a combined top five power-plays in the NAHL.. The IceRays are ranked 3rd while the Runners’ are 5th.
PLAYOFF RACE…With a Wichita Falls win last night in Odessa and a Corpus Christi shootout victory over Topeka, the Rays’ are still 5pts in front of Wichita Falls.
