TONIGHT’S GAME … Corpus Christi looks to avoid a sweep tonight against the Amarillo Bulls, who have yet to win a series against the IceRays all season.  Last night Corpus Christi could not find any scoring as the Bulls picked up a 3-0 shutout victory.  Hayden Stewart was the only bring spot stopping 36 of the 39 shots faced on the evening.  Wichita Falls defeated Odessa last night and pulled to within just 5pts of the final playoff spot in the South Division.

SMITH HURT… Brandon Smith took an elbow to the face last night in the loss to Amarillo that went uncalled and missed most of the third period. 

HUTTON RETURNS FROM INDY… Grant Hutton has returned to Corpus Christi and will be available against Amarillo after being summoned to play for the Indiana Ice in the.

KEY INJURIES… The IceRays remain without Perry D’Arrisso and Trevor Heuser for tonight’s game.   

SHAPING UP… The South Division playoffs have already been decided with the exception of 4th place.  Amarillo, Topeka, and Texas all have earned playoff berths while Corpus Christi and Wichita Falls are seeking the final spot in the divisional round.

PLAYOFF RACE… Corpus Christi now sits just 5pts in front of 5th place Wichita Falls for the final playoff spot in the South Division.
