CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Jonathan Grebosky in only his second game as a member of the IceRays picked up a hat trick that propelled Corpus Christi to a 4-2 victory over the Wichita Falls Wildcats in front of 4,151 fans inside the American Bank Center ending their four game losing streak.

Phil Pietroniro started the scoring for the IceRays with a nice move around the defender beating goaltender Matt Leon through the legs for a 1-0 lead.

Grebosky netted his first goal of the night 13:17 into the game to take a 2-0 lead.  It was Grebosky’s first goal as a member of the IceRays and he would not be done there.

He picked up his second goal of the night 1:45 into the second period while on the power-play.  Grebosky took a pass in the high slot and snapped it past Leon to take a 3-0 lead.

The Wildcats stormed back to make things interesting and the man that lead the charge was Zach Pochiro who scored both goals to make it 3-2 in the third period.

Both teams battled back and forth the entire period, however, Grebosky notched a hat trick with an empty net goal securing a 4-2 win.

Anthony Stolarz stopped 29 of 31 in the win.
