The IceRays will be hosting two public skating events next week to benefit the ECF Community Center and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

On Tuesday, March 13th, from 6-8:30 pm, skating will be open to the public at the American Bank Center. Admission is $10/person, which includes skate rentals. Proceeds from the event will benefit the ECF Community Center located at 2924 Ruth Street in Corpus Christi. This public skate is presented by Braselton Homes.

The ECF Community Center is an after-school tutoring center serving all CCISD children from kindergarten to fifth grade. Its mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment for all children, and to help students master all academic standards while providing support, time, and instruction that focuses on their academic needs.

Saturday, March 17th, the IceRays will hold a second skating event from 1:30-5 pm. Admission is also $10/person, including skate rentals. Proceeds from this event will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society located at 4601 Corona Drive in Corpus Christi. This event is sponsored by KIII, SMG, and Adaptive Driving Access.

Walk MS helps communities to change the world for those affected by MS. Its goal is to raise enough money to eventually end MS forever.

Next weekend, the IceRays will return to action against the Amarillo Bulls on Friday and Saturday night. Admission is $5 for all spring breakers who show their college ID at the box office. Saturday is also Saint Patrick’s Day, and anyone who wears green to the game will be allowed entry for $7. Fans will also have the opportunity to partake in the Braselton Homes post-game skate on both nights. Skate rentals are $7. Puck drop is set for 7:05 pm CT. The games will be broadcast on HockeyTV and on YouTube.
