ICERAYS UNABLE TO FIND NET IN 1-0 LOSS

Jan 14, 2013

WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays continue to struggle offensively as the Wichita Falls Wildcats picked up a 1-0 shutout win on Tuesday night inside the Kay Yeager Coliseum.

The lone goal of the evening came at the 5:08 mark of period one.  Kyle Bauman centered a pass that deflected off a stick and flubbed into the back of the net.  The assist was given to Jake Townsend.

That proved to be the game winner as the IceRays could not find the back of the net for the second straight contest.  Hayden Stewart shined for Corpus Christi in net putting aside 33 of the 34 shots he faced.

The IceRays are on the road again tonight in Wichita Falls.  Puck drops at 7:15PM and the pregame show kicks off at 7:00PM on 91.1FM KSGR, KSGR.org, ustream.com, and fasthockey.com.
