PACK THE HOUSE WEEKEND CLOSES HOME SCHEDULE

Mar 30, 2016

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) close the 2015-16 home schedule this Friday and Saturday at the American Bank Center against the Wichita Falls Wildcats.

The IceRays kick off the big home weekend on Friday night with Country Night, presented by KFTX and Billy Bob’s Western Ware. The first 250 fans to the KFTX table will free koozies provided by KFTX, and all those that stop by the KFTX table will have a chance to win a signed IceRays stick through a raffle drawing. The winner will be announced during the game. In addition, KFTX’s Country Boy Don Williams will be the man in the stands that night, providing in-game promotional entertainment. Area country entertainer Jim Dugan will provide music throughout the game including pre-game, intermissions, and post-game. Friday night is also the final Frosty Friday of the season, which means it’s the last chance for $1 beer and soda. There will be a Post-Game Skate, presented by Braselton Homes.

Saturday is the final home game of the season and Pack The House Night, presented by the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Corpus Christi Harley Davidson, Kiewit, Mattress Firm, and the Port of Corpus Christi. The IceRays are bringing back their annual Harley Davidson theme jerseys for both games this weekend, and the team will auction them off after Saturday’s game in the Eddie Jackson Post-Game Jersey Auction. There will also be a silent auction throughout the course of the game, and proceeds from both auctions will benefit Mission911. The IceRays will also be presenting checks to various beneficiaries from this season and announcing the winner of the special Brooke’s Blossom Ring from Gold Falcon. Tickets for that raffle will be sold at both games. Saturday is also a Corpus Christi Caller-Times Family 4-Pack Night, so fans can receive four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas for just $46. The Post-Game Skate, presented by Braselton Homes, will be on a limited basis. Those with skates are able to participate for $5, but those without skates must wait until after the game for available sizes due to pre-booking with Boy Scout Night.

Both the IceRays and Wildcats have much to play for in their final four meetings over the next two weeks. The Wildcats are two points from clinching the South Division title and home ice advantage in the first two rounds of the playoffs, while the IceRays remain two points back of the Odessa Jackalopes for the fourth and final playoff spot and need to produce points in every game possible.

Opening faceoff on both nights is at 7:11 p.m., and doors are expected to open at 6:00 p.m. The IceRays are expecting large crowds throughout the weekend, so please plan accordingly and arrive early. The IceRays welcome over 10,000 fans each year during the two-game home finale. Those still looking for tickets can purchase them at www.Ticketmaster.com and the American Bank Center Box Office. Fans and sponsors with partial and full season tickets can exchange unused tickets for this weekend at the IceRays Front Office.
