ROBERTSON CUP PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE STARTING MONDAY

Mar 26, 2015

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) will be releasing tickets for the 2015 Robertson Cup Playoffs on Monday, March 30 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Central Time for the South Division Quarterfinals. The IceRays are happy to keep all prices the same as regular season numbers and offer discounted rates for season tickets holders.

“Making the playoffs is not an easy task,” said IceRays general manager Pat Dunn. “It’s hard to make the playoffs year after year, so it’s a way to reward our season ticket holders and corporate partners with discounted tickets. Expect a high tempo game with a lot of emotion from both teams. The playoffs are always played at a faster pace with a do-or-die attitude and not much room for errors.”

The IceRays will play a best-of-three series beginning on Friday, April 3 at 7:05 p.m. from the American Bank Center to determine who advances into the South Division Semifinals starting in the second week of April. Their opponent will be determined at the end of this weekend as play in the 2014-15 NAHL regular season concludes on Sunday. Once an opponent has been decided, information on the second home game will be released to the public.

Ticket prices for the public will not change from the listings for the regular season. General admission tickets will be available at $11 for individual tickets and starting at $9 for groups of ten or more. Silver-level seating remains at $15 for individuals and $13 for groups of ten or more, gold-level sections will be listed at $18 as well as $13 for groups of ten or more, and premium platinum seating stays at $22 for individuals. All current partial and full season ticket holders will receive a $3 discount on any level of ticket purchased. Tickets for all postseason games will be available at www.Ticketmaster.com, any Ticketmaster location, or the American Bank Center Box Office.

The IceRays embark on their second trip to the Robertson Cup Playoff since the team became a junior franchise in the 2010-11 season, and they slot in the South Division Quarterfinals as the four-seed, their highest placement in the playoffs. In their lone trip to the postseason, the IceRays fell 3-1 in the 2013 South Division Semifinals against the Amarillo Bulls in a best-of-five series. The IceRays will finish the 2014-15 regular season with the best record in junior franchise and as the lone squad to earn thirty wins or more in a single season. Broadcast coverage begins 15 minutes before each playoff game on the IceRays flagship station, SportsRadio Corpus Christi (KSIX 1230AM), and on www.FASTHockey.com

The IceRays head to the Robertson Cup Playoffs for the second time in franchise history in the first weekend of April.
