CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Take advantage of a special offer for this weekend only as the IceRays return home to the American Bank Center this Friday and Saturday at 7:11 p.m. for a two-game weekend set against the South Division leaders, the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
With the start of the spring break season, the IceRays are opening the Corpus Christi Caller-Times Family 4-Pack Night to both Friday and Saturday night for this weekend only. Fans can purchase four tickets and receive vouchers for four hot dogs and four drinks for just $46. Friday night is also a Frosty Friday, with $1 beer and soda offered throughout the evening, as well as the second Grades For Blades Night, presented by 7-Eleven, Texas A&M Kingsville and the Texas Farm Bureau. Middle school and high school students from the Corpus Christi area are offered tickets to Friday night’s game as a reward for demonstrating strong academic achievement and being role models and leaders both within the classroom and around the school community. At the first Grades For Blades Night on December 11, the IceRays welcomed 4,365 fans with a majority of patrons from local schools.
The IceRays take on the South Division’s top-ranked team, the Wichita Falls Wildcats, for the first time at home since October 8-9 and overall since January 8-9. While the IceRays haven’t had success against the Wildcats this season, Corpus Christi owns a two-point lead for the fourth and final playoff spot with just 10 games remaining and six at the American Bank Center. The IceRays and Wildcats will play six times during each of their final ten games this season.
