Oct 14, 2014

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays open up a two-game weekend against the Topeka RoadRunners on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 at the American Bank Center. This is the final set of games the IceRays will play against their Kansas foes in the 2014-15 season.

Saturday night’s contest is headlined by U.S. Army Night presented by the United States Army. Members from this branch of the United States military will be in attendance including a local Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) from Texas A&M Corpus Christi and active, reserve, and retired U.S. Army soldiers. This event provides an extension of the partnership the IceRays have with United Services Organization (USO) South Texas and Flint Hills Resources. Like every home game, members of the military will be recognized during the game, and members of the military will be able to sit in designated sections of the lower bowl.

Also this weekend, the IceRays host their weekly Friday and Saturday night specials. Friday is Frosty Friday, where beer and soda options will be sold for $1, and Saturday night is also Caller-Times Family 4-Pack Night. Fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas for just $46.

Both contests this weekend begin at 7:05 p.m. from the American Bank Center, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. Fans can redeem ticket vouchers at the American Bank Center Box Office today through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well as the night of the game beginning at 5:30 p.m. Coverage begins with Countdown to Faceoff at 6:50 p.m. on SportsJuice.com and FASTHockey.com.
