CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays start up a busy three-game home stand by celebrating the lifestyle and heritage of the South with Country Night on Wednesday, March 11 at 7:05 p.m. when they close out their season series against the Lone Star Brahmas from the American Bank Center. The IceRays will play three games in four days against two of the top teams in the South Division.
The IceRays invite fans and members of the Corpus Christi community to adorn themselves in their best country garb when they watch the evening’s game and enjoy country music throughout the night. 97.5 KFTX Real Country will be handing out customized black drink koozies to the first 500 fans that arrive at their table in the lower concourse. They will also be raffling a piece of signed IceRays memorabilia through the first part of the contest. Wednesday’s game is also the final edition of Winning Weekdays for the 2014-15 season. When fans purchase one ticket for the game, they will receive a second ticket for free. In addition, patrons can purchase one slice of Hunt Brothers Pizza within the American Bank Center and receive a free slice of cheese pizza for free.
The IceRays and Brahmas are playing their third-straight game against one another over the last six days. The IceRays were swept last weekend against the Brahmas in their two-game road set, but they have performed well in the home side of their season series, going 2-1-0 in three games from the American Bank Center. The IceRays remain six points from claiming a spot in the 2015 Robertson Cup Playoffs and nine points away from clinching home ice advantage in the opening round. The Brahmas are now the top team in the South Division and the first team other than the Topeka RoadRunners to own the top divisional spot this season.
Doors open for the game at 6:00 p.m. with the opening faceoff at 7:05 p.m. from the American Bank Center. Tickets can be purchased at www.Ticketmaster.com or any Ticketmaster location as well as the American Bank Center Box Office on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets the night of the game.
