TONIGHT’S GAME… Corpus Christi won their first ever NAHL playoff game in stunning fashion last night with a two goal third period en route to a 2-1 victory over the NAHL regular season champion Amarillo Bulls. Tonight’s game could be crucial to the series. Coming into this semifinal round, they key was goaltending and the IceRays got that as Hayden Stewart stopped 38 of 39 shots while the IceRays solved Paul Berrafato. Emil Romig and Brandon Berkley both scored for the Rays’ with Berkley tallying the game winner late in regulation. Four different IceRays picked up points as Walker assisted twice, Williams added a helper, Berkley scored the game winner, and Emil Romig scored and assisted.

BRICK WALL… Hayden Stewart may not have earned one of the three stars of the game in Amarillo for Game 1, however he stopped 38 of 39 shots and was key to the comeback victory.
COMEBACK WIN… The IceRays trailed 1-0 going into the final period but Emil Romig and Brandon Berkley each scored to take Game 1 for the IceRays 2-1 over Amarillo.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK… Rudy Sulmonte earned Player of the Week honors for the South Division and fell just short of Player of the Month scoring 19pts in the month of March.
