IceRays Drop Series Opener to Lone Star

Dec 30, 2021

The IceRays ended the first half of their season on Thursday night as they hosted Lone Star in game number thirty.  Earlier this season, Corpus Christi was able to sweep Lone Star in a two-game set.

Game one of this Thursday-Friday set was all Brahmas on the scoreboard.  The only affiliation to an IceRays player scoring was former IceRay forward Artur Turansky getting the game’s opening goal in period number one.  Lone Star added two more in the second and maintained that lead through the final period.

The Brahmas earn two points and now sit eight points ahead of the IceRays.  The two teams will battle again tomorrow night.

If you come to tomorrow’s game, you have a chance to win $2,022.  Special deals can be found on our Facebook.  Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 pm at American Bank Center.
