CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays return from their three-week road trip and kick-off a four-week home stand this Friday, Feb. 10 and Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7:05 from the American Bank Center when they host the Odessa Jackalopes and feature the first of a slew of promotions throughout February.

The weekend and eight-game home stand begins on Friday with Teacher Appreciation Night. The IceRays welcome teachers, faculty and staff from area schools to join the team for a night out to thank the educators of Corpus Christi’s future generations. The game is also a Tride Rideshare Frosty Friday, with $1 beer and soda throughout the evening as well as $5 off any fare on the Tride Passenger app using promo code “icerays” coming to or going from the American Bank Center.

Saturday welcomes back the 3rd Annual Hockey & Heels Night, a game for women and female hockey fans. Throughout the game, fans can bid on various items on the main concourse at a live silent auction during the first two periods as well as earn come cash with a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the event benefit the Women’s Shelter of South Texas, a non-profit organization based in Corpus Christi focused on empowering and providing shelter and assistance for victims and survivors of family violence or sexual assault. This is the second season the IceRays have partnered with the Women’s Shelter of South Texas for the event. The two also joined forces at the Winter Wonderland Skate Night on December 20. The game is also a Corpus Christi Caller-Times Family 4-Pack Night, meaning fans can purchase four tickets and get vouchers for four hot dogs and four sodas for just $48 when buying at the American Bank Center Box Office.

Both games feature an IceRays Post-Game Skate, presented by Braselton Homes, following each game. Wristbands are on a first-come, first-serve basis outside the IceRays Team Store for $7 with skate rentals and $5 for fans with their own skates.
