The IceRays return home this weekend to face off against the Shreveport Mudbugs. The two teams are tied in the standings and will battle to try and get into a playoff position.
On Friday, the two teams will match up for the first time since the spring of 2020. A lot a happened for Shreveport since then. In that time, Shreveport picked up their second Robertson Cup, which happened last summer in Blaine.
The IceRays are 26-30 all time against the Mudbugs, which includes a 5-3 record against Shreveport in the playoffs. Corpus Christi will look to improve the record closer to .500 in the all-time series and closer to .500 on the season.
Friday also means Frosty Friday at American Bank Center. This means $4 16 oz draft beers all night at ABC. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
On Saturday night, it is the Halloween Bash at the game. The bash on the ice won’t be the only entertainment with a costume contest and Halloween themed music at points throughout the game.
Saturday night’s game will also be the first post-game skate of the season. It’s your chance to get on the ice at ABC and skate with the Rays. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 on Saturday night.
