ICERAYS FALL TO MUDBUGS IN PLAY-IN SERIES OPENER 7-2
The Corpus Christi IceRays (0-1-0) dropped the opening game of the Robertson Cup Play-In Series to the Shreveport Mudbugs (1-0-0) by a 7-2 final Friday night at George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum. The seven goals allowed mark the most ever surrendered in a playoff game in IceRays history. Corpus Christi will look to bounce back in Game 2 tomorrow.
IceRays Open Robertson Cup Playoff Run in Shreveport
The Corpus Christi IceRays (30-23-6, 4th place) will open their Robertson Cup Playoff run in a best-of-three Play-In Series against the Shreveport Mudbugs (28-22-9, 5th place). Despite earning the higher seed, the IceRays will play all three games on the road at George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The Corpus Christi IceRays have officially wrapped up the 2025–26 North American Hockey League regular season on a high note, finishing with a 30-25-6 record and securing 66 points to claim 4th place in the South Division.
ICERAYS MAKE HISTORY WITH BACK-TO-BACK 30 WIN SEASONS IN 7-5 VICTORY OVER WARRIORS
The Corpus Christi IceRays (30-23-6, 66 pts) closed out the regular season in style with a 7–5 victory over the Oklahoma Warriors (26-26-7, 59 pts) Saturday night at the Blazers Ice Centre. The win marks the first time in history that the IceRays have recorded back-to-back 30-win seasons. With the victory, Corpus Christi secures a fourth-place finish in the South Division heading into the postseason.
ICERAYS COMEBACK FALLS SHORT IN OKLAHOMA TO WARRIORS 4-2
The Corpus Christi IceRays (29-23-6, 64 pts) saw their comeback bid fall short in a 4–2 loss to the Oklahoma Warriors (26-25-7) Friday night at the Blazers Ice Centre. Despite generating the majority of quality scoring chances, the IceRays were ultimately undone by a lack of execution, as missed opportunities proved costly.
ICERAYS WRAP UP REGULAR SEASON IN OKLAHOMA AGAINST WARRIORS
The South Division playoff field is set heading into the final weekend of the regular season. Among the qualifiers, the Corpus Christi IceRays (29-22-6, 64 pts) travel to the Sooner State for one last series against the Oklahoma Warriors (25-25-2, 51 pts).
IceRays Forward Nick Sinani Commits to Milwaukee School of Engineering
The Corpus Christi IceRays are proud to announce that forward Nick Sinani has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Milwaukee School of Engineering, an NCAA Division III program competing in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.
