From 2003-10, Josh Bogorad was the “Voice of the IceRays”, providing play-by-play broadcasts of Corpus Christi Rayz/IceRays games in the former Central Hockey League. Following three seasons with the former Alaska Aces of the ECHL, Bogorad made his way to the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars, first serving as TV Host before this season transitioning into his current role as the Stars’ radio/television play-by-play voice on Fox Sports Southwest and The Ticket.
Current “Voice of the IceRays” Rob Sanderson caught up with Bogorad to chat about his memories of Corpus Christi and broadcasting in the NHL. Check out the separate video and audio interviews below:
