Nov 2, 2019

AMARILLO, Texas – The Amarillo Bulls, led by 23 saves from Charlie Glockner, recorded a 2-0 shutout of the Corpus Christi IceRays at the Budweiser Bull Pen. The Bulls swept the two-game weekend in Amarillo; the two teams will meet up again this week in Corpus Christi.

Jeremy Forman made 28 saves for the IceRays.

Bulls forward Devan Tongue scored a power play goal 6:50 into the contest to give the Bulls a lead before the IceRays’ first shot of the night.

Amarillo doubled its lead in the second period when Jordan Venegoni scored at 11:39.

The IceRays were limited to five shots on goal in the third period. Forman was pulled late in the game in favor of an extra attacker but Corpus Christi was unable to find the back of the net.

Amarillo had a perfect special-teams outing for a second night in a row, going 1-for-1 on the power play and 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.
