CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays will host games three and four of their best-of-five South Division Semifinal series against the Shreveport Mudbugs on Wednesday, Apr. 19 and, if necessary, Thursday, Apr. 20 at 7:05 p.m. from the American Bank Center to kick off the 2017 Robertson Cup Playoffs, the team announced today.
The South Division Semifinals is a best-of-five series to open the playoff schedule between the one-seed and four-seed as well as the two-seed and three-seed within each division. The winners of those series will continue to the South Division Finals to determine the divisional representative for the Robertson Cup Semifinals. The IceRays embark on their third trip to the Robertson Cup Playoffs in junior franchise history and ninth overall in the 19-year history of the organization.
The IceRays, who finished the 2016-17 season in third place, will play the second-place Shreveport Mudbugs in the opening round. The full first round schedule is listed below with Games 4 and 5 deemed if necessary should the series require beyond the minimum of three games:

Game #2 – Saturday, Apr. 15 – 7:11 p.m. – George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum – Shreveport, La.

Game #4 – Thursday, Apr. 20 – 7:05 p.m. – American Bank Center – Corpus Christi, Texas
Game #5 – Tuesday, Apr. 25 – 7:11 p.m. – George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum – Shreveport, La.
To pay homage for the successful 2016-17 season and to continuing the streak of 90,000-fan seasons while being crowned attendance leaders for the fourth-straight year, the IceRays are honoring their weekday promotion for both playoff games and bringing back Winning Weekdays. This means that all tickets for both playoff games are buy-one, get-one free when purchasing only at the American Bank Center Box Office.
Tickets for both home games will be on sale beginning on Thursday, Apr. 13 at 12:00 p.m. CDT. Fans can purchase their seats at the American Bank Center Box Office or online through Ticketmaster.com. IceRays Full Season Ticket Holders automatically have their seats reserved for next week’s games as part of their package, and those members will be able to pick-up their tickets at the IceRays Front Office starting at that same time and date. Partial season and individual ticket holders will need to purchase their seats.
