IceRays Make Trade With Bismarck

Bourgault dealt to Bismarck in trade.

Corpus Christi, Texas – The Corpus Christi IceRays made a trade with the Bismarck Bobcats Thursday.

The IceRays dealt Mathieu Bourgault to the Bobcats.

In return, the IceRays get a 2024-25 and 2025-26 third-round draft pick, tender and a player development fee.

Bourgault was second on the IceRays in points with 27 with eight goals to go along with a team-high 19 assists in 40 games in his first season with Corpus Christi.

Prior to Corpus Christi, Bourgault played for three seasons with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Corpus Christi is coming off a 2-0 shutout victory over the Amarillo Wranglers January 27 at American Bank Center.

The IceRays are 14-22-1, 3SOL for 32 points, in eighth place in the NAHL South Division, four points behind the Odessa Jackalopes for seventh, and 13 points behind the Oklahoma Warriors and New Mexico Ice Wolves for sixth.
