Corpus Christi, Texas – Corpus Christi IceRays forwards Mathieu Bourgault and Stepan Kuznetsov earned NAHL weekly honors for their play last week.
Bourgault was named the NAHL Southern 2nd Star of the Week, while Kuznetsov was named honorable mention.
Bourgault netted a goal in the IceRays 3-2 loss at home against the El Paso Rhinos Friday, September 22.
He collected three assists the next night in the IceRays 4-3 victory to finish the weekend with 4 points.
Bourgault has two goals and four assists in six games this season.
After collecting an assist against El Paso September 22, Kuznetsov scored a pair of goals in the win over El Paso.
Kuznetsov has three goals and an assist in six games this season.
The IceRays are 2-4 on the season and will play on the road at the Amarillo Wranglers Friday and Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. CT.
The Wranglers were off last week after going 3-1 at the NAHL Showcase.
