What is a Billet?
A billet is a hockey player who does not live in this area of TX and needs a place to live while playing hockey for the Corpus Christi IceRays.
What is a Billet Family?
A billet family takes a player (or 2) to live in their house and be a part of their family for the hockey season. The family provides a safe place to live. A monthly stipend of $450 is paid by the player’s family to help cover food and utilities.
Why Billet?
Hosting a billet player is a chance to support a driven young athlete on their path to college hockey. These players become positive role models for your children and often help out around the house, bringing leadership, responsibility, and energy into your home.
