Roster Reveal, Skills Competition, Player and Coach Meet and Greets Set for Saturday, September 5
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi IceRays are inviting fans and members of the community to the IceRays Open House Select-a-Seat Event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Hilliard Center.
The event will give fans an opportunity to get a first look at the IceRays as they prepare for the 2026-27 season, with activities planned for hockey fans of all ages.
Highlights of the Open House Select-a-Seat Event will include the IceRays team roster reveal, multiple 4-on-4 scrimmages, and player and coach meet-and-greets. Fans will also have the opportunity to select their season seats for the 2026-27 season and meet and interact with IceRays team ownership and staff. Team scrimmages will take place from noon to 2 p.m.
Families can enjoy the Kids Zone, while fans will have the opportunity to purchase new limited-edition merchandise and enter for a chance to win prizes. Concessions will also be open throughout the event, giving fans the opportunity to grab food and refreshments while enjoying the festivities.
“This is a great opportunity for our fans to come out, meet the team, connect with our organization and get excited for the upcoming season,” said COO George Manias. “We look forward to welcoming the Corpus Christi community to the Hilliard Center on Sept. 5.”
IceRays Vice President Amanda Marines said the event is designed to bring the team and community together ahead of the new season.
“We’re excited to open our doors to the Corpus Christi community and give our fans the chance to experience IceRays hockey up close,” Marines said. “This event is about building excitement for the season, creating memorable experiences for our fans and bringing our entire IceRays family together.”
