IceRays Turn Attention to Robertson Cup Play-In-Series in Shreveport

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi IceRays have officially wrapped up the 2025–26 North American Hockey League regular season on a high note, finishing with a 30-25-6 record and securing 66 points to claim 4th place in the South Division.

The IceRays punctuated their season with an exciting 7-5 victory over Oklahoma on Saturday night, showcasing the offensive firepower and resilience that defined their campaign. The win not only capped off the regular season but also marked a significant milestone for the organization.

For the first time in franchise history, the IceRays have recorded back-to-back seasons with 30 or more wins, a testament to the program’s continued growth, consistency, and commitment to excellence both on and off the ice.

“This is a big step forward for our organization,” said CEO Steve Donner. “Our players have put in tremendous work all season long, and to achieve consecutive 30-win seasons speaks volumes about their dedication and the culture we’re building here in Corpus Christi.”

Finishing fourth in a competitive South Division, the IceRays now turn their attention toward the postseason, carrying momentum and confidence into the playoffs.

The IceRays will face the Shreveport Mudbugs in the Robertson Cup Play-In Series at George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. Game 1 is scheduled for April 10, Game 2 for April 11, and Game 3, if necessary, will be played on April 12. Game times for the series are to be determined.
