NOTES: Holm, Parillo named NAHL Honorable Mention Stars of the Week:

IceRays goaltender Vilgot Holm, and forward Gage Parillo were names honorable mention South Stars of the Week.

Holm collected 28 saves in both the 4-2 victory over Oklahoma on November 10 and in the 6-1 loss to the Warriors on November 11.

IceRays Acquire Griffin Zaske:

The IceRays acquired defenseman Griffin Zaske from the Dansbury Jr. Hat Tricks.

Zaske is a 6-foot-6, 225-pound defenseman who will bring some extra size to the team.

“We brought in Griffin late on Saturday, so he wasn’t able to play, but he’s gotten a full week of practice in and we’re hoping he can bring a little physicality and toughness on the back end,” IceRays assistant coach Phil Oberlin said. “He’s a big body, who skates well, moves the puck well and a great penalty killer, so he brings a lot of different aspects to the game.”

Zaske played in 14 games with the Jr. Hat Tricks season with two goals. He netted one goal and added four assists in 49 games last season. He also amassed 213 penalty minutes.
