IceRays Secure Future Blue Line Talent with California Native
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi IceRays are proud to announce the tender signing of defenseman Nathaniel Clark for the 2026-27 season.
Clark joins the IceRays organization as a promising young defenseman who has demonstrated a strong combination of skating ability, hockey sense, and poise with the puck. Throughout his time with the Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U AAA program, he has established himself as a dependable presence on the blue line, capable of contributing in all three zones while playing a responsible two-way game.
The 2008-born defenseman from Oceanside, California, has continued to elevate his game against high-level competition, showcasing the ability to move pucks efficiently, defend with an active stick, and transition quickly from defense to offense. His commitment to development and attention to detail have made him a player to watch as he continues to progress through the junior hockey ranks.
In addition to his success at the youth level, Clark has gained valuable experience competing against top competition and has consistently demonstrated the maturity and work ethic necessary to succeed at the next level. His strong skating foundation and ability to read the game make him an exciting addition to the IceRays future defensive core.
