CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays close out a four-game home stand this weekend against the Amarillo Bulls at the American Bank Center in a rare Saturday-Sunday set. This weekend is also the last home set against the Bulls for the 2015-16 season.
Saturday kicks off the weekend at 7:45 p.m. with Energy Industry Night, presented by IBEW Local 278, Laguna Wealth Services, M&G Chemicals, and Voestalpine. The IceRays and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Coastal Bend will be holding a silent auction throughout the evening’s game with information from local energy business throughout the concourse. Proceeds from the evening’s game will benefit CASA of the Coastal Bend. Saturday is also a Corpus Christi Caller-Times Family 4-Pack Night, with four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas available for just $46. There will also have an IceRays Post-Game Skate, courtesy of Braselton Homes.
The game scheduled for Friday has been moved to Sunday at 2:30 p.m. to help accommodate for ice repairs. All promotions carry over from Friday to the new date, meaning that Sunday Funday brings $1 beer and sodas throughout the game. Fans that already have tickets or vouchers for Friday’s game can use those to gain entry to Sunday’s game in those specific seats. Those not able to attend Sunday’s game can contact the IceRays Front Office for a refund or exchange to a future IceRays game in the 2015-16 season. Sunday afternoon will also have an IceRays Post-Game Skate, courtesy of Braselton Homes.
This weekend is the final set in the Coastal Bend between the IceRays and Amarillo Bulls. Both teams have split their season series, going 4-3-1 through eight games, and are meeting now for the third weekend in two months. The IceRays remain in a playoff spot by six points and hope to solve their opponents from the Texas Panhandle.
