The Corpus Christi IceRays take part in their lone game of the 2015 Preseason tonight at 7:00 p.m. against the Lone Star Brahmas from the NYTEX SportsCentre in North Richland Hills, Texas. This is the first ever meeting in preseason action for the two South Division opponents.
Coverage of the game begins just before the opening faceoff on the IceRays flagship station for all road games in the 2015-16 season, SportsRadio Corpus Christi (KSIX 1230AM). Last season, the IceRays played a home-and-home series against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, splitting the weekend with a 7-6 loss in Hidalgo, Texas and earning a 4-1 win at home. Format for the pre-season game will be the same as a regular season game: three 20-minute periods with 15-minute intermissions. The Brahmas won their first South Division crown last year with a 40-12-8 record. The IceRays and Brahmas are the only two South Division teams left to open their respective 2015-16 seasons.
