TONIGHT’S GAME… The IceRays will play their first home playoff game inside the American Bank Center for the first time since the series opening loss at the hands of the Texas Brahmas in the 2010 CHL Playoffs. Tonight, the Rays’ return home as they seek their first home playoff win since a Game 2 victory over the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees in the 2009 playoffs.  With the series deadlocked at one game apiece, Corpus Christi now has home ice advantage in the five game semifinal round.  The IceRays came back in Game 1 to take a 1-0 series lead in Amarillo however the Bulls rebounded in big time fashion with a 6-3 win in Game 2.  AJ Jarosz scored two goals in the loss and Beau Walker added this third assist of the series.  Brady Ferguson is hot for Amarillo picking up two tallies of his own in the first period just 21 seconds apart.  The winner of this one will put a strangle hold on the other to win the final two games of the series in order to move on.

TWO IN THE LOSS…  Corpus Christi mounted a comeback in the final period on Saturday night as AJ Jarosz picked up two goals but it wasn’t enough as the IceRays fell 6-3 to the Bulls.

COMEBACK WIN…  The IceRays trailed 1-0 going into the final period in Game 1 but Emil Romig and Brandon Berkley each scored to take Game 1 for the IceRays 2-1 over Amarillo. 

PLAYER OF THE WEEK… Rudy Sulmonte earned Player of the Week honors for the South Division and fell just short of Player of the Month scoring 19pts in the month of March.
