TONIGHT’S GAME …Tonight, the IceRays head north to Wichita Falls as they battle the Wildcats in a pair of weeknight games before heading to Amarillo this weekend.  These two games can completely change the shape of the playoff race for the South Division.  Wichita Falls sits just 7pts behind Corpus Christi after a sweep of Odessa this past weekend for the final playoff spot in the division.  For two weeks straight, a Cats’ player earned South Division Star of the Week!    The first two times these two teams met, the Wildcats prevailed in shootouts.  Both squads are 4-6-0 in their last ten games played.

THE SERIES…Tonight’s game is the 5th meeting between the IceRays and Wichita Falls this season.
            – Season series: Wildcats leads 3-1

TWO IN A ROW… The Wildcats had two players consecutively chosen for South Division Star of the Week!  This past week, Sami Salminen was given the honors.

SEVEN IN TEN…  Both Perry D’Arrisso and Beau Walker have 7pts in the past ten games.  D’Arrisso has 3g & 4a while Walker recorded 1g & 6a.

PLAYOFF RACE…Corpus Christi is now 7pts in front of Wichita Falls after losing to Texas on Saturday, and a Wildcat sweep over Odessa.
