TONIGHT’S GAME …Tonight, the IceRays look to end a two game scoreless drought as they seek a split with the Wichita Falls Wildcats before heading off to Amarillo.  Last night, the Rays’ could not solve Connor Cowley as the Wildcats pulled out a 1-0 shutout on home ice.  With the win, the Cats’ pulled 5pts away from Corpus Christi for the 4th and final playoff spot in the South Division.  Hayden Stewart stopped 33 of 34 shots in the loss.  The lone goal came off a fluke bounce that was credited to Kyle Bauman and proved to be the eventual game winner.    

THE SERIES…Tonight’s game is the 6th meeting between the IceRays and Wichita Falls this season.

BEEN A WHILE… The IceRays have not recorded a goal in 146min and 22sec.  The last goal was scored by Rudy Sulmonte on Friday in the 2nd period against the Texas Tornado.

SICK NO MORE…  After missing last weekend with an illness, Hayden Stewart stopped 33 of 34 shots that he went up against last night at Wichita Falls.

PLAYOFF RACE…Corpus Christi is now 5pts in front of Wichita Falls after losing to the Wildcats on Tuesday night 1-0.
