TONIGHT’S GAME …Corpus Christi hosts “Pink in the Rink” night against Odessa tonight. On Wednesday three different players scored their first NAHL goals. The IceRays went down early to the Jackalopes but rebounded with a 6-3 win. Nick Monfils scored his first two goals in the NAHL while Rudy Sulmonte scored a pair of goals as well. Odessa’s Brett Wagner and Corey Hoffman each tallied their first goals as well. Corpus Christi’s 3rd ranked power-play went two-for-three against the Jacks’.

MONFILS SHINES…Newcomer Nick Monfils scored his first two goals in the NAHL in the first period on Wednesday night en route to the 6-3 victory.
HUTTON TO INDIANA… Grant Hutton has been summoned to play for the Indiana Ice in the USHL this weekend. He will suit up against Muskegon on Saturday and Youngstown on Sunday afternoon.
POWER-PLAY ON FIRE… The man advantage helped on Wednesday as Corpus Christi went two-for-three while up a skater. Rudy Sulmonte and Mike Economos each scored a PPG.
KEY INJURIES… The IceRays remain without Perry D’Arrisso and Trevor Heuser for tonight’s game.
PLAYOFF RACE…With a win on Wednesday the Rays’ increased the lead for 4th place to five points over 5th place Wichita Falls.
