TONIGHT’S GAME … Corpus Christi and Amarillo take to the ice again tonight, this time in South Texas for the third game in a row.  On Saturday, Amarillo was handed their third loss at home by the IceRays and fourth overall on the season.  Ben Myers stopped 29 of 30 shots in the win while Brandon Berkley and Eric Purcell provided the only two goals that Corpus Christi needed for the win.  More importantly, the Rays’ maintained a 5pt lead over Wichita Falls who swept Odessa again.  The IceRays look to make it two in a row tonight against Amarillo, while the Bulls look to get back into the win column in the only NAHL game of the evening.

THE SERIES… Tonight’s game is the 8th meeting of 12 overall between the IceRays and Bulls this season.

DEADLY DUO… TJ Sarcona and Tyler Deresky have a combined 20pts against the IceRays this season in only eight games played.

STREAK HALTED… Corpus Christi ended Amarillo’s eight game winning streak on Saturday night with a 2-1 victory.

BEEN AWHILE… This is the first time Amarillo will play in Corpus Christi since October 21st when the Bulls won 9-3.

KEY INJURIES… The IceRays remain without Perry D’Arrisso and Trevor Heuser for tonight’s game.   

SHAPING UP… The South Division playoffs have already been decided with the exception of 4th place.  Amarillo, Topeka, and Texas all have earned playoff berths while Corpus Christi and Wichita Falls are seeking the final spot in the divisional round.

PLAYOFF RACE… Corpus Christi remains just 5pts in front of 5th place Wichita Falls for the final playoff spot in the South Division.
