TONIGHT’S GAME … Corpus Christi invades the Ector County Coliseum for a two game mid-week series with the Odessa Jackalopes beginning tonight at 7:05PM. Although the Jackalopes only come into tonight with six wins, they can alter the race for the final playoff spot in the South Division. The IceRays come into this week fresh off a split with the Texas Tornado that put the Rays’ back into fourth place in the South while the Jackalopes pushed Topeka to the limit in a 4-3 loss last Saturday night. Last time the IceRays were on Odessa, the Jacks’ took the first game of the series en route to a split. Anthony Olguin has been on as of late for Odessa picking up 4pts in the last five games while Brandon Smith has emerged with 5pts in the past four games. With a win, the IceRays can pull out to a 4pt lead in the division with just five games remaining in the season.
