TONIGHT’S GAME … Corpus Christi had the opportunity to clinch a playoff spot last night with a regulation win and a Wildcat loss.  Things didn’t pan out the way the IceRays had hoped and now with a win today, Corpus Christi can force Wichita Falls to pick up a sweep next weekend if they want a chance to make the post-season.  The IceRays were outshot in the first period last night 20-7 and trailed 2-0 after 20min.  In the end Carter Penzien notched the game winning goal 3:23 into the second period as the Bulls clinched the best record in the NAHL.

            – IceRays record vs. AMA: 5-6-0

CLINCHED THE LEAGUE… With last night’s 4-2 win, the Amarillo Bulls clinched the top spot in the North American Hockey League.
