CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi IceRays have acquired Goaltender Bejamin Motew from the Maryland Black Bears for future assets. Motew, a native of Glencoe, Illinois, has played 25 games for the Black Bears this season posting a 2.43 goals against average and .911 save percentage with a 14-9-2 record.
Benjamin is commited to the Air Force Academy and played two seasons in the SJHL with the Humboldt Broncos before arriving in Maryland. During his two seasons with the Broncos Motew accumulated a record of 44-16-4.
