Collected 26 Points in 62 Career Games in Corpus Christi
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi IceRays are proud to announce that forward Colin Watson has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Chatham University, a NCAA Division III member of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC).
Watson, a dynamic presence on the IceRays forward group, has been a key contributor throughout his time in Corpus Christi. Known for his physicality, work ethic, and two-way reliability, he has consistently played an important role in the team’s success both offensively and defensively.
“Colin has earned this opportunity through his dedication and consistency,” said IceRays Head Coach Ryan Gil. “He’s the type of player every team needs, dependable in all situations and committed to getting better every day. Chatham is getting a great player and an even better person.”
Watson finished his NAHL career appearing in 85 games, including 62 with the IceRays, where he recorded nine goals and 26 points. At Chatham University, Watson will join a competitive UCHC program. The Cougars continue to build a strong roster, and his addition brings experience, maturity, and a high level of compete.
“I’m excited and honored to commit to Chatham University,” said Watson. “I want to thank my coaches, teammates, and family for their support throughout this process. Corpus Christi has been a huge part of my development, and I’m grateful for everything the organization has done for me.”
