Speedy Forward Sets Career Highs, Leads Team with Four Shorthanded Goals
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi IceRays are proud to announce that forward Nick Sinani has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Milwaukee School of Engineering, an NCAA Division III program competing in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.
Now in his second season with the IceRays, Sinani has posted career highs this season with 15 goals and 24 points, establishing himself as one of the team’s most dynamic offensive threats. A key contributor on the penalty kill, he leads the team with four shorthanded goals, using his speed and hockey sense to create scoring opportunities in all situations.
“Nick’s speed and determination make him a constant threat every time he’s on the ice,” said IceRays Head Coach Ryan Gil. “He’s a skilled player who works hard in every situation, and his growth this season has been tremendous. We’re excited to see him continue his career at MSOE.”
Sinani’s commitment reflects his dedication to both the sport and his academic development. Known for his explosive skating, defensive responsibility, and ability to capitalize on key moments, he is poised to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level.
“I’m excited to take the next step in my athletic and academic career, said Sinani. I’m thankful for all the oppurtunities and experiences to get me to this point. I want to thank the IceRays organization for helping me get here as well as my family to take this next step.”
The IceRays organization congratulates Nick on this achievement and looks forward to following his continued success at the NCAA Division III level.
