CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Corpus Christi IceRays general manager Pat Dunn announced today that the organization will not renew the contract of head coach John Becanic for the 2016-17 season.
Becanic, 50, became the third head coach in junior franchise history when he was hired on June 27, 2013. Last season, the IceRays placed fifth in the South Division under Becanic with a 25-29-6 record.
