ICERAYS & SMG HOLDING JOINT PRESS CONFERENCE TOMORROW

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and the SMG managed American Bank Center will be holding a joint press conference on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the American Bank Center Arena VIP Lounge.

The IceRays and SMG staff will be announcing a joint effort taking place over the next few months to celebrate the city of Corpus Christi as well as give back to the community that has provided support to both entities within the last two decades. The conference will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. with a special meet and greet at 12:30 p.m. for media and special invited guests, including hors d’oeuvres and appearances by the IceRays players and mascot Stinger Ray leading up to the event. The IceRays and SMG staff invite members of the media, sponsors and the general public to the event.

Those attending tomorrow’s press conference should enter the American Bank Center Arena from Resaca Street and proceed up the elevators to the right to the second floor. There will be a carpet and signage leading to the elevator entrance. The VIP Lounge is right at the exit to the elevator on the second floor. The IceRays begin their final two-game weekend set against at the Amarillo Civic Center on Friday, Feb. 19 at 7:05 p.m. against the Amarillo Bulls. The IceRays come back to the American Bank Center on Friday, Feb. 26 at 7:11 p.m. to begin a two-game set against the Odessa Jackalopes.
