CCHL veteran adds competitiveness, and depth to Corpus Christi lineup
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi IceRays are pleased to announce the Tender of forward Andrew Waugh for the 2026-27 North American Hockey League season.
Waugh, a native of Norwell, Massachusetts, joins the IceRays after competing with the Navan Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) for most of last season. He also appeared in 17 games with the Quebec Remparts of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The 20-year-old center brings a strong two-way game, leadership qualities, and valuable junior hockey experience to Corpus Christi. Waugh shoots right-handed and stands at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds.
Throughout his junior career, Waugh has demonstrated a commitment to playing a complete 200-foot game while contributing offensively and competing in key situations. Waugh posted 12 goals and 22 points in 29 games last season with Navan Grads. His work ethic and hockey IQ made him a valuable piece for Navan and attracted the attention of the IceRays coaching staff.

We believe he has the tools to make an immediate impact in our lineup and continue developing into a high-level player.”
Waugh is eager to begin the next chapter of his hockey career in Corpus Christi and help the IceRays compete for a Robertson Cup championship.
The Corpus Christi IceRays continue to build their roster for the upcoming season and look forward to welcoming Andrew and the rest of the team to South Texas this fall.
