CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi IceRays continue to add to their stacked 2023 Roster with another Swedish-born athlete, Right-Winger Arvid Lundberg-Brobäck is the next player to come to terms with a tender contract.
Brobäck joins the esteemed group of IceRays tenders, bringing a wealth of experience and talent to the team. Having recently completed a successful season in the highly competitive J20 Nationell in Sweden, he has proven himself to be a formidable force on the ice.
Throughout his Nationell career, Brobäck has consistently displayed his scoring ability, recording an impressive 32 goals, 42 assists, and 74 points in 92 games. As a right-wing, he showcased his skills and versatility, contributing 34 points in 45 games during his most recent season.
Head Coach Sylvain Cloutier commented about adding Brobäck to the IceRays roster, stating, “Arvid is a big signing for us, he played in the highest junior league in Sweden. He’s a 200-foot player that plays the game the right way. He’s got an elite show and he’s another big body. He will bring leadership to our dressing room. We needed to add size and I think we have accomplished that so far!

What is a Tender?
A tender is a contract, of sorts. A player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders – plus or minus any trades – which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
