ICERAYS TRAINING CAMP BEGINS ON MONDAY

Aug 27, 2015

The Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League begin preparations for their 18th season of Coastal Bend hockey and sixth in the NAHL on Monday, August 31 with the opening of the 2015-16 training camp at the American Bank Center.

The IceRays open camp just 19 days until the 2015-16 season opener against the Topeka RoadRunners from Landon Arena in Topeka, Kan., and 16 days prior to their pre-season matchup against the Lone Star Brahmas from the NYTEX Sports Center. The IceRays are coming off a historic 2014-15 campaign, registering a team-record 31 wins  and 23-7-0 home record. Despite a loss in the South Division Quarterfinals last season, the IceRays are on the hunt for their first playoff series win this year.

The first practice for the 2015-16 IceRays starts at 10:00 a.m. from the American Bank Center. Training camp practices are not open to the public but are open to all members of the media. A full schedule of the training camp schedule will not be released publicly. Coverage of camp events will be available on IceRays social media.

In addition, the 2015-16 training camp roster will be made available on Monday just prior to the first puck drop of camp. The full roster will be available on GoIceRays.com.
