Projected Lineup (1/21 vs. El Paso)

Jan 21, 2022

The IceRays hit the ice this evening against El Paso starting at 8 pm CT.  The IceRays are looking for their first road win of 2022 after starting out 0-2 last weekend in Shreveport.

The IceRays roll out a lineup that is mostly similar on the front end to what was there on Saturday in Louisiana.  Three of the lines stay the same, as they just move up and down the line chart.

The only line that is different for the Rays on offense is the unit of Wandmacher, Elias, and Dill.  Last Saturday, Wandmacher and Dill were on a line with captain, Jude Kurtas while Elias was dressed as Corpus Christi’s extra skater.  With the captain having to move back to defense tonight, Elias moves into the role of fourth line center.  Stepan Kuznetsov fills the role of the extra forward tonight.

On defense, the Rays are without Braden Rourke and Dom Foglia, so Jude Kurtas steps into the first pair alongside Brady Carlock.  That slides Killian with O’Keefe and Miller with Harvey.

Stefan Carney makes his 2022 debut as he has not appeared in a game for Corpus Christi since December 9th against Amarillo. Carney started that game on December 9th and got pulled after allowing two goals on thirteen shots.
