Projected Lineup (1/29 vs. Amarillo)

Jan 29, 2022

The IceRays face off against Amarillo on Saturday night in hopes of breaking out the brooms.  A win on Saturday would also extend their winning streak to four games, which would match a season high.

The Rays keep the first unit of Kuznetsov, Lewis, and Zagrzebski together.  That first unit has all recorded at least one point in the last three games.  The other IceRays player to do that is Nathan Butler, who lines up at left wing on the second line with Elias as his center once again and Contreras on the right wing.

Jude Kurtas makes his return to the lineup for the Rays as he lines with Merkley and Crolley on line number three on Saturday.  This is the first time that Crolley and Merkley have been apart from Contreras since night one in Shreveport.

On defense and in net, the IceRays line up the exact same way as Friday with Carney starting for the fourth straight game in net. The seven defenders in front of him are the same for the second night in a row as well.
