RAYS ADD JAROSZ, RELEASE LENOIR

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi IceRays announced they have added forward A.J Jarosz from Des Moines in the USHL, and released defenseman James Lenoir. 

Jarosz, from Crystal Lake Illinois, will be in Odessa this weekend as the IceRays take on the Jackalopes Friday and Saturday night.

The 18yr old Jarosz played 30 games in U16 midget hockey during the 2009-2010 season scoring 13 goals and adding 17 assists.  In the 2010-2011 season, Jarosz played for the Chicago Young Americans in the Midwest Elite Hockey League (MWEHL) recording 21 goals and 16 assists in 38 games.

Lenoir who was released, appeared in two games for the IceRays this season recording no points, and had a plus/minus rating of -3.

The IceRays are in action this Friday and Saturday for a pair of games in Odessa at 7:05PM.  Coverage on ESPN Radio 1440 starts at 6:50 with the pregame show!
