Jun 13, 2011

The Corpus Christi IceRays just completed the first of four tryout camps this summer.  Partnering up with the rival Amarillo Bulls, the Pittsburgh Scouting Combine saw over 60 players compete for spots on both teams’ rosters.

“It was a successful camp from our perspective,” said assistant coach Justin Quenneville.  “The camp went very well and Pittsburgh was a great spot to hold the combine.”

The IceRays now head to New York for the second tryout camp of the summer in Clifton Park which kicks off on Friday.
