The IceRays are providing a new way to connect with fans regarding news, offers and promotions with the introduction of text alerts, courtesy of RemindMyCustomers.com and Hamilton, Hull & Rogers, Attorneys At Law.
"We've been searching for new ways to directly reach fans and the Corpus Christi community that not only effectively reaches fans but also provides incentives for keeping up with the IceRays, said Pat Dunn, IceRays General Manager. "Attorney Stephen Hamilton brought us the idea of text alerts, and with the help of his associates at Hamilton, Hull & Rogers as well as that of Mark Jones with RemindMyCustomers.com, we're excited to announce this new messaging system."

"Over the last two seasons, we've been able to reach more and more fans with new and expanded ways to send out information, and this continues our ideal of better connecting fans to the team. This is new ground we're treading on, and we're happy at the potential it brings."
Fans and community members looking to receive updates about the IceRays can text the word "RAYS" to 361-808-4038 to sign up for the system. The IceRays will be sending out updates on upcoming games including promotions and special offers, rewards incentives only for those with the messaging service, and urgent news including time changes and special releases. This service is the first of its kind to North American Hockey League (NAHL) teams.
