CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Topeka RoadRunners have moved Saturday night’s contest at the Kansas Expocentre against the Corpus Christi IceRays to Sunday, September 14 at 1:05 p.m. The change comes following the death of Corporal Jason Harwood, a member of the Topeka Police Department who was killed in the line of duty on Sunday, September 7.

In respect of the funeral at the Kansas Expocentre taking place on Saturday, the RoadRunners felt it best to move the back end of the double-header.

“Our entire organization knows all too well the pain of losing a brother,” said RoadRunners owner Don Stone to TopekaRoadRunners.com. “We are mourning with the Topeka community and thinking of the family of Corporal Harwood along with all affected by this tragic event.”
