Jan 11, 2012

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Corpus Christi IceRays star goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been named the 21st best goaltending prospect in North America by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau.

In his first season with the IceRays, Stolarz has a 12-10-1-1 record, along with 2.61 goals against average and save percentage of .922.

Stolarz was the only NAHL player to make the mid-season rankings.  It’s not the first award Stolarz received this year as he earned NAHL Three Stars of the week, and USA Junior hockey goaltender of the week.

The IceRays are on home ice tonight against Odessa.  Puck drops at 7:05PM, coverage begins at 6:50PM with the IceRays Pregame Show on ESPN Radio 1440AM.
