The Corpus Christi IceRays (6-7-1) drop an overtime heartbreaker to the El Paso Rhinos (8-6-3) by a score of 5-4 Friday night at the El Paso County Event Center. A flurry of three unanswered goals for the IceRays in the final five minutes of the 3rd period earned them a point. It also marks the first time this season the IceRays lost past regulation.

The Corpus Christi IceRays (4-7-0) were swept for the first time this season in a 5-3 defeat against the El Paso Rhinos (5-5-1) on Saturday night at the Hilliard Center. It marks the first time this season the IceRays have fallen three games below .500.
ICERAYS COMEBACK FALLS SHORT IN SERIES OPENER AGAINST RHINOS 4-2
The Corpus Christi IceRays (4-6-0) came up short in a comeback attempt Friday night, falling 4-2 to the El Paso Rhinos (4-5-1) at the Hilliard Center. Rhino’s goaltender Michael Modelski shined in net, making 33 saves to remain undefeated on the season.
